Although the Science and Discover channels are part of the same network, they are separate channels that commission their own shows. The New Mythbusters and the search will be on the science channel, not Discovery, as both were commissioned by the former.

Well except that Discovery in the UK does not always follow the same pattern as Discovery in America. The last series of Mythbusters with Adam and Jamie were shown on Science in the US but on the main Discovery in the UK, I understand. Similarly the antics at the O.C.C. were shown on Disco in the UK but a different channel in America TLC for parts of its run.

Okay my mistake, but I know that several other Dicovery network shows like American Chopper were shown on the main UK Discovery channel when they were shown on other channels in the network in America. It does not mean it will automatically happen to 'The Search' but it's not something that definrlty cold not happen.

I've had a chance to see this episode and noticed something you all missed about the 'Deflate Gate' test; It was specifically noted by the host that the testing was done to see how good the contestants were doing something daft on camera.
