Can't argue with that. And by the looks of the pic, St. Paul still looks a little frozen.

This isn't local, but the story was on local news. The kid has the right idea!

This isn't local, but the story was on local news. The kid has the right idea! Story would have turned out much differently if the kid was hit by a car while out doing what the city workers should have been doing. Typical politician's response. The solution to every problem. Raise taxes.

And all it does is re-locates the potholes from the street to the yard. Something I’m sure his parents appreciate. But I do have to give him credit, he saw a problem and he did some thing about it.

I agree that dirt isn't going to solve the problem... but rather than sit around and play video games because it's someone else's problem, he took it upon himself to help the neighborhood. Good kid!

Good kid! after trying multiple times with coldpatch on potholes in the driveway of the complex the car wash was in, we called a local paving company ans asked what it would cost for them to spill a yard of hot patch on the way by. they told us we should use concrete, and it is STILL holding up years later.

today was "fill the boot for Jerry's Kids tm." we will have to wait for the final tally to know whether we broke $10,000.00 Hope you did well. I had a friend I knew from first grade that had MD. They didn’t expect him to live beyond the age of 15. He lived to be almost 60 years old. If you can call what he went through living. In the end, it wasn’t MD that killed him. It was state politics.

so because three of Mrs TLW's prescriptions had a refill date of tomorrow, her doctor didn't bother giving approval for them to be refilled, early, and we had the expectation of running out while we were here; as well as one we couldn't bring because it has to be refrigerated - so we went down to the doctor here and in about a half hour, we had the pharmacy setting up for our hosts to pick up her prescriptions tomorrow, at a grand total of 80 pounds. - since as tourists we aren't eligible for NHS.
