Did he happen to meet yoga goat? the stories didn't say. And that’s what’s wrong with the news today. They just don’t report what you need to know.

The discussion with TLW on another thread about waste water reminded me of an aricle I read. Certain parts of California are starting to install solar panels over the canals that transport water to various communities. Actually a good idea for a change. 1. The panels are in areas that are already clear, so no impact on existing building or farmland. 2. Shade over the canals reduces the amount of water lost due to evaporation. 3. Power generation on land that would otherwise not be as useful. 4. Shade cuts down on weed growth that would suck up water and less use of weed killer chemicals. 5. Power generation can help offset installation costs. It will be interesting to see how this works long term. theconversation.com/installing-solar-panels-over-californias-canals-could-yield-water-land-air-and-climate-payoffs-158754

I also see an advantage that there is an easy source of water for when you need to wash dust off the panels.

Which river is that used to flow pretty readily into Mexico and then on to the ocean, that is until pulling water out of it before it left the states put an end to that.. an end well before where it used to end. ?

Ghost of Tsushima.
Very popular video game.
You're the last survivor of a unit that was wiped out during a coup, and now you're trying to overthrow the tyrannical new warlord.
The #1 feature of the game?
You can pet the foxes.
Apparently, this has become such a major meme that the developers are going to be doing a patch for the game where some foxes will actually anticipate you petting them.

Not exactly sure how that would work, but I'm sure the players will enjoy a Brand New Belly Rub.

How could you not like a cute little fox. That is, until they keep dragging dead squirrels and rabbits under your boat house and letting them rot there where you can't reach them. Yep, cute little stinkers.
So since it's illegal in Illinois to trap a fox without a license (the trapper, not the fox) I hired an animal removal company that was licensed to trap foxes to remove them from under the boat house. After charging me over $400 and catching 3 raccoons, they gave up and said the foxes were too smart to catch. They did catch a sucker though in that I didn't get my $400 back.

Tomorrow is Thanksgiving here in the US. I want to wish everyone a happy, safe and enjoyable holiday! To those who celebrate it at a different time, or not at all, I wish you a relaxing day all the same! considering last year at this time, I was just barely regaining function after COVID, it's gotta be an improvement.
