Or hoping that the researchers will find it interesting enough without the need to spice it up. As you know, I'm with you all the way here. I think it's interesting enough in its own right, but my fear if we don't find something else to tie this into is that we'll be written off as "just too nerdy", compared to the average viewer. I hope I'm wrong, but I'd hate to hinge this on hope alone and never see it tested. we might as well own it.

Well, we do have a valid reason for them to make both a magnetic bearing and a long metal propeller in the Helicarrier myth. So if they did that they could always, if they had time during the build, do the Caventish experiment. Jamie does, after all, have large steel balls....

Just wondering if this one counts as a contribution or idea for the new MythBusters? I don't think this one went into the file while the show was winding down when it was going off the air. Anyway, if there is a new show and ideas need to be swept together, I offer this one since it's basically ready to go!
(I'll keep it in mind that other ideas need to be forthcoming too!)

Depending on who is watching, I suspect many of old ideas in our vaults will be kept as "viable ideas"?.. thats why we keep this place going isnt it?.

Cyber has already confirmed that there will be a new show after "The Search" and that they might be looking to us for ideas, so yeah, this one counts
