OK, here it is. Not the prettiest thing in the world, but it should be stout enough. A former co-worker made the knife for me, and one just like it for my brother.

That's pretty neat pulp!
Interesting finger guard on the knife. Probably isn't, but looks like a piece of brass salvaged from a pistol frame/backstrap.

That's a good looking sheath, and should last for years and years! You should be proud of it. About the knife, what is IT made out of? Forged, stock removal, etc.?

The blade is made by Brusletto, it is called the mystery blade. No one really knows who or what they were designed for, but a knifesmith in New York bought the lot from Brusletto. My former co-worker bought a bunch from him. The blade is 3/16 inch thick, very strong. The antler is from a deer killed by another co-worker. Here's the knife:

not sure how you are putting those in - when I use the upload picture option it posts a thumbnail in the page with an option for viewing the full-size. that streamlines the page loads.

O.K., I tried to post a photo from Photobucket, using the attachment function, but when I click/copy the link from Photobucket, I can't paste it into the attachment window.

Here is one of the knives and sheaths that I make. The knife is ATS34, hand ground from 3/16"x1-1/2" flat bar.
I use a 2"x72" belt grinder, with an 8" diameter wheel to do the hollow grind.
"Rivets", (actually two piece screw together "bolts,") and thong hole liner are made from scratch from nickle silver, and the scales are made from laminated wood, in this case.
I've got a few more photos of a couple more knives and sheaths, along with the layout of the sheath type I make, if anyone wants to see them, I'll post them.
Thanks for the advice, TLW, I think I've got the photo posting thing figured out now, except for being able to post more than one photo attachment into a post.
Pulp, I've got a box or two of various antlers and some knives without handles that I've picked up over the years, your photos have given me some inspiration to dig them out and do something with them!!

*Slips in wearing Mod hat* Please keep in mind that large images can cause problems for people who have slow internet connections, especially if you get several on one page or people quote posts that contain images. Not a telling off, just something people should be aware of. *Removes hat* Nice pulp How to post small with ability to enlarge? Any enlightenment will be appreciated. Thank you in advance. BTW, nice hat ;D
