Interesting, this might mean that the original claim was that warm water made 'better' ice - which is something MB could test while they are doing this. Didn't a previous episode already address making "clear" ice?

They have discussed making clear ice on a couple of occasions, one being the ice bullet revisit.

Just an added inquiry related to hot water making clear ice, Is clear ice stronger than un-clear ice? Considering that there are less air bubbles and contaminants in clear ice. (This is just out of my curiosity)
