Do Adam and Jamie know of any research that has changed outside the MB's research due to a result on Mythbusters.
As in have any of their myths had a direct influence on science or industry.

Whoops sorry I forgot I'd already asked that one. Bit spaced out at the moment - hurt my shoulder yesterday & I'm on some STRONG pain killers, the kind come with the do not drive or operate heavy machinery warning. I think they should also add the disclaimer do not use the internet as well. Have you already asked that one?.. when and where?.. 'cos its not on this thread, I opened a new thread because I wanted to answer that one for myself?.... BTW Painkillers, I am hyper-sensitive to all Codeine, it "spaces me out", as it turns into morphine inside the body. If I read the link that you posted right (which given your questioning I didn't) I got it from there. I'm taking two Comfarol Forte (Codeine & Paracetamol) every 3 - 4 hours & I think it's spacing me out more than a bit. I just watched an episode of one of those 'reality show' home reno comp shows & I think I enjoyed it - is that scary or what!

we're drifting off topic, here...
that said - for adam or jamie: how often do you experience "topic drift" in planning sessions, and has that ever paid off in a great idea? (whether for mythbusters or for other work)

(whether for mythbusters or for other work) I seem to remember Adam touching on this in a tested.com podcast where he said they drift all the time, so perhaps the better question would be: What's the best outcome you've ever experienced out of something that came from drifting off topic from something completely different?

Okay, so since we learned the show is ending and on the off chance that Cyber might be able to score an interview with one or both of the guys after the fat lady has taken her coat and left the building, here are a couple of new questions.
These first ones are for both Adam and Jamie:
- Out of all the things you've built for the show over the years, regardless of whether or not they worked when you were done, which is the one where the process gave you the most satisfaction and why? Conversely, what build process has been the worst and why?
- There's no doubt things you would have loved to do on the show, but for some reason couldn't. If Dan Tapster came to you tomorrow and said, "We're giving you one last show. One last myth. You get a million bucks, the crew and equipment is paid for for the next two months, your paycheck is already in the mail and you don't have to worry about sponsors or censorship or anything. Go nuts!" what would you like to test and why (possibly even how, if you've thought that far ahead)?
- Twenty years from now, when you hear someone say, "MythBusters? Yeah, I remember that show," what do you hope the next sentence after that will sound like?
- You - along with everyone else who's worked on the show - have taken science communication to a level that has never before been seen. You've reached millions of viewers of all ages and levels of society all over the world and helped form a new generation of critical thinkers. Where do you see science communication to the masses heading from here? If you were to hand over that torch to someone else, what would your advice to them be as they head off into the future?
Specifically for Jamie:
- We've always had the impression that the cameras and the whole process of making a TV show has annoyed you immensely from time to time, because it got in the way of you doing what you do best. What made you say yes to being on MythBusters in the first place and, more importantly, what kept you coming back for more for all those years?
- How do you genuinely feel about having fans? Not just fans of the show, but people who are specifically fans of you as a TV personality and a builder?
Specifically for Adam:
- We all know you have a deep love for TV and movies and we're kind of expecting you to stay in that business. Is there any chance of you staying in the realm of science education, either as a writer/director/producer or as a host, or are you done with that? We're all hoping you're not done of course, so if you would like to stay in that field, where would you like to go next? (No offense to Neil deGrasse Tyson here, but I personally think you would have been a better host of the new Cosmos show - You're just a better storyteller and I'd love to see you do something similar to that, telling the story of how we got to where we are in our understanding of our place in the Universe)
- Now that MythBusters won't be taking up any more of your time, will you be spending more time on tested.com and what changes could we possibly expect to see there?

For Jamie:
what has been your all time favorite build and why? (on or off the show)
what build would you really like to redo with an unlimited budget and no interruptions?
For Adam:
What story was your all time favorite and why?
What story would you really like to redo with an unlimited budget?
for both:
how has your perception of this show changed from the beginning to the end?
if you had one word of advice for a kid wanting to follow in your footsteps, what would that one word be? okay, a phrase?

for both:
13 years ago, an idea was pitched to the Discovery network about a show busting urban myths.
what is different between how you looked at the idea, then, and how you see the show in hindsight? I guess to be more clear, how has the show changed how you look at the show in particular and the world in general?

Simple question...
"what next".
In that we understand a possible need to be away from the camera's for a while, but when will we see you again?...
Will it be together?..
Do you have any plans for another show?..
They must realise there is an army of dedicated fans who will be interested.?..

Like say a 25th Anniversary Special? ect?

For Both:
If another TV network were to offer you a chance to resurrect the show would you consider/accept their offer?
