I thought it was an interesting myth but I got two problems with it.
They had the dummy laying flat and wouldn't the mattress move around in water?

I have a completely different issue with it - this is from the fansite where they also were posting to death that if you have a sheet of newspaper lying on the water, it will break your legs...

The mattress might move, but the landing would be the same. They took the trajectory from the show Burn Notice, so the dummies all had to land on their bums. |
