Thursday night was officially the last game. We won, but again, the win was only for pride. In fact, the team we won against had such a good record this season they could *afford* to lose (which they might have done) and still have a playoff berth.
This morning dad and I delivered the final batch of Saturday morning football tabloids for the year, and next Saturday I'll be policing back up whatever is left.
That's all, folks.

While I don't care for my local high school football, my son in the band gets his schedule dictated by the football team.
Friday was the last game of the season the big rivalry game. I got volunteered to help in the concessions booth. All concession profit goes to the band, so I'm okay with it. Well, it has been a very good season for the team, so they are going to playoffs. I got to see them trounce their opponent from behind a popcorn machine. Not a bad way to spend an evening. I'm sure I'll get asked to help in another game during playoffs.
