Maybe that's why am not having a problem. Like SD, I don't see the background image because of ad-block.

I still don't get the background image, even after switching ABP off. If it's not a stupid question, why do you need to deeplink Photobucket (or anything else) anyway?

I cleared my cache and that clear it up. The bricks are back.

I cleared my cache and that clear it up. The bricks are back. Sorry about that. You need to tell ABP to block them again. Just right click on the background and click on the ABP block option. (ABP must be turned on to see that option)

I found out a while back that when I block the background in ABP, it also blocks other images posted in the threads if they're linked from Photobucket.
Just FYI...

When using FBP, check your using the specific photo block not the whole site.... I got caught in that a couple of times. I "think" the exact link to block is this one... http%3A%2F%2Fi7.photobucket.com%2Falbums%2Fy275%2FMortis_strike%2Fmythbusters_banner_zpsd6ad84d5.jpg&t=ffab or this one... i7.photobucket.com/albums/y275/Mortis_strike/mythbusters.jpg

I am still having issues sometimes, plus issues on other sites. I am wondering if there is another round of "on firefox, halt" happening.

Latest flavor of FF (ver.46.0) keeps bogging my CPU. And chewing up a ton of memory with hardly anything open.

I know my CPU usage gets overloaded when there is an update going on in the background to firefox. That happens so frequently, I can now predict a update just by watching FF usage in my process explorer... any more than say 40% of cpu usage, its an update to something?... At the moment of writing, my cpu usage of FF (46) is about 4.5% up to 9% lowest 2.5%, going to 20% ish when opening a container to watch flash video.

Actually it seems to have stopped right after I posted this. I updated a couple of days ago and FF was locked at a steady 20% CPU usage according to Resource Monitor. Now with about a dozen tabs open it's running between 1% and 6%. I noticed when I opened a new tab it shot up to the 20% I was locked at before but dropped as soon as the page finished loading. Maybe something wasn't releasing, but for now it seems to have straightened itself out.

Still crashing when idle for a few hours. There's a new update 46.0.1. We'll see if that does the trick.

so I moved the citadel over on to microsoft's current browser. seemed to eliminate the DNS errors (even from other sites I am still browsing on firefox). it also doesn't have adblock active.
wondering if there is a connection.
