I could've sworn that I'd had Quorn chicken nuggets that had the fibrous texture of chicken breast ... but then again, I eat so much crap these days that it's hard to single out anything that impressed me, my palate's so jaded.
Anyway, the point that I was trying to make is that the Quorn producers could be a source of information on just how like (or unlike) chicken anything tastes.

mcNopes chicken nuggets hardly contain actual meat.....
Light mayo is the most useless junk on the market, followed by all the "icantbelieve" butter fakes.
I've never eaten anything that really tastes like chicken, atleast close enough to think it is chicken.

the "I can't believe" fake is better than the modern fatless butter substitutes. if artificially margarine flavored jello was that popular, they'd sell it by name.

Never had Quorn, but I have had Gardein faux chicken nuggets, and they are remarkably chicken-like, but only if you compare them to something like McNope's chicken nuggets. A lovely piece of actual chicken? Not so much.

light, i mean any "fake" butter, margarine is not a food at all... yes, but, the generation of margarine that ICBN is a part of is not as bad as the generation that Smart Balance is a part of.
