I so wish all of the last five would have been tapped to take turns working together on the new show. Such a diverse assortment of experiences and skills. That's all I'm gonna say until everyone sees the episode.

I am happy with the two who did get picked, but I sure hope the others can be support builders!

**Spoilers**Read on at your own risk... As has been stated before, the final 5 were not only AWESOME, but any 2 of them would have made great hosts. When it came down to announcing who was actually going to get the tap on the shoulder, I found that I was honestly okay with any of them. The only person I think I was rooting for, was Jon, but even then it was only marginally. SO, when Brian and Jon got picked, I was happy! As for the 2 myths tested: 1)Water heater Rocket. I saw no flaws with their methodology in how they tested this. I did find it interesting that they were not all in the same bunker when the rocket went boom. The results were also not all that surprising... well, I mean it wasn't surprising he didn't live, but it was a bit of a surprise that he lost his head over it 2) Walk on Water: They had no time to do it properly, and therefore the results were exactly as expected. Although it was fun to see Brian make it further than anyone else, and basically went in a circle.

Although it was fun to see Brian make it further than anyone else, and basically went in a circle. I noticed the two who did best tied their pontoons together, which prevented the bambi effect the other two suffered from. I also noticed there was an inverse relationship between how high the contestants' feet were on their foot floaties, and how quickly they overbalanced. having the benefit of hindsight, I think I would be inclined to build the floaties so my feet fit INSIDE them, thus getting my weight closer to the water.

TLW I had not noticed the bound together until reading your post, and as I think back on it, you're correct. I did, however, notice the lower the feet, the better they did. Seems like a 'canoe' shape with some rudders to push water backwards, might work well... have the sides high enough so your feet are actually below water level.

In that case, how about a revisit in which people can design their shoes using solid blocks of material they can shape instead of bits they scavenged from other items?

I only noticed it because I was thinking about the need for it.
