Death by Shrinkage One mythical method of execution was to sew a victim up into a wet cowhide, then put them in the hot sun. As the cowhide shrinks, it crushes the victim. Variations include just using cowhide straps around the body, or even just around the neck, so they will constrict and strangle the victim. Buster could get a workout on this one. I'd always heard this one as wet rawhide. Tandy Leather carries rawhide bends and sides, and their description says it's been de-haired and cured but not tanned -- I don't know how that would compare to a fresh cowhide, taken off a dead cow and immediately wrapped around some no-good varmint. OTOH, I suspect people would complain if a cow was butchered simply to provide fresh cowhide for a MB test, and rawhide was available in the old west. When the original show wrapped production, who got the full-body ballistics gel mold? Or would something like Meatman be a better test subject?

Probably best to assume that everything but the camera equipment from the original series is at M5 or was passed around the cast and crew as mementos.
