Ships Biscuit was issued, but it was also made on board from flour that was part of the pursers stores. This is not exactly surprising when you consider that every man was entitled to a pound of biscuit per day. If it's properly made fruit cake can last FOREVER! - or near enough. Right up to the year she died my Great Grandmother would make two dozen new fruit cakes every year. She died 5 years before I was born (I am now 35) & we only just finished off the last fruit cake she made last year! I'm SO looking forward to a fruit cake free Christmas this year!

"... cookies go stale???"

Or how long can you keep fresh Chicken in a freezer?...
I was told a few months. Mine was dead by the next morning......
I could be used as a cannonball..... we know MB's have the technology.

Not any more they don’t Dragon, remember they chopped it up to make the fire fighting helicopter prop for the scuba diver in a forest fire myth. I remember that Mr Savage was NOT too happy about that one. *See 1:18 min onwards for the Death of the Chicken Cannon.*
