Afraid browser hang time is going to relegate this innovation (the whole ensure uniqueness over a number of cards routine) only to standalone systems using some programming technology other than a web browser. Users are extremely touchy regarding internet connection and response time. I can't say I'll be including it to the LOTTOtheLot website after all; nice idea as it is. such is life. addendum: when people complain the microwave takes too long, you know we're becoming an impatient species.

I know some people who call the lotto a tax on people bad at math.
The odd of winning are so low they might as well be zero. However, if you don't play, your odds of winning are exactly zero. So I don't consider the occasional ticket bought for fun as a bad thing. Just know that you are going to be wasting money. However, compared to the other things people waste money on, it all goes into the same boat.
However, if something is playing the lotto excessively or is planning to win as their retirement, they have a problem.

Want to learn the meaning of the word "infinitesimal"?
Play the lottery and discover your infinitesimally small chances of actually winning!!!
Next to zero is a plac(es)!
Almost as mind numbing as negative Kelvin temperatures!!!
AHH!!!!!

A certainty can be mathematically thought of as 1.
Half a chance: 0.5
Forth of a chance: 0.25
Eighth chance: 0.125 . . .
A chance at winning Powerball: 0.000000004
Decimal with eight leading zeros.
It truly is an incomprehensibly tiny chance.
And, yet, there is one person in California today who is glad they took the chance.

Is that what happened!? I hadn't heard that part. Wow! An idiot buys a lottery ticket. Like THAT would ever happen! Lol.
