Yeah, I forgot to mention that you need Flash. But thanks for trying. Oops.

Loaded okay for me (Google Chrome on Win7).
It's asking me for an APN.

I was able to locate one specific parcel.
No error messages. I don't see how to pan around using a mouse--the zoom feature works, though.

Works fine on Firefox 18.0.1 and Windows 7 from upper Midwest USA.
Won't work from iPhone, but then nothing Flash will. Thank you Steve RIP.

Cool. Turns out the problem was that the update uses a different port than the previous version.
And not figuring out the problem from the get-go is what happens when a guy who makes maps tries to administer server software!

If it matters, it took a while to load. I had a blank screen for a few seconds, then the page loaded.

Lake Country Map Viewer..... Ok, but it was all green... where are the lakes then?....

Well, there is that big blob in the middle--Clear Lake.
There are a lot of little lakes around it, too.
Also, Lake County has such notable towns as Clearlake, Clearlake Oaks, Lower Lake, Lakeport, Hidden Valley Lake...basically, I think there's a rule there that if it's a town, it must contain the word "Lake" in it. If it's not a town, they include the word "Lake" just in case.
;D
I actually spent Thanksgiving up there last year; my brother lives in the area.

Do most of the residents have a boat?... does the name "lake View" spear at least once on every street?... I think I know the place.
Much like Englands "Lake district", there is only one lake... and its not Windermere.. (Mere is a word meaning Water, it could be the origin of mirror as well...)

County? Once the map was loaded, I could pan anywhere in the country. I even found my house 2000 miles away.

There are a lot of boats up there (as land is relatively cheap so you can afford such toys). According to Wiki, there are 36 lakes/ponds/resevoirs in the county: en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_lakes_in_Lake_County,_California There's supposed to be good fishing there. Clear Lake itself is the largest lake in California, with over 100 miles of shoreline and 43,000 surface acres of water.

Lake Country Map Viewer..... Ok, but it was all green... That'd be the algae. Come late summer, as it sits on the surface and rots, the leeward side of the lake smells like a sewer plant. Which is why I live on the (generally) windward side. Yeah, they were really creative when it came to the names, weren't they? Although you missed "Nice" and "Lucerne" (named for the Swiss towns. Do the Swiss versions also have a lot of retirees and crack houses, I wonder, or was there another reason for naming them that?). There's supposed to be good fishing there. Clear Lake itself is the largest lake in California, with over 100 miles of shoreline and 43,000 surface acres of water. I don't fish, myself, but it's supposedly the best bass fishing lake in the western US. We've even had a few Bassmaster tournaments in the park a few blocks from where I live. And much more importantly, Mythbusters have filmed here twice.

..... now that I think of it, Nice is in France. Duh. I've been stuck doing local geography for a backwater county WAY to long.
