Ok we all know currently in Washington DC there is a LOT of pointless debating going on causing a bit of general anxiety. So to relive some tension & just for fun I though we might have our own pointless debate. So the pointless debate comes from Star Wars V: A New Hope. In the famous scene in the Mos Eisley Cantina Han Solo & Greedo face off. The question is did Han Solo shoot first? George Lucas asserts that Greedo ALWAYS shot first, others disagree & say Solo shot first. So the Question is - Who Shot First? You can vote only once but may debate the subject as often as you like. In the original version, there was ONLY 1 shot. Han shot Greedo.
So while Han shot before Greedo, Han didnt shoot first, because there was only one shot.
For Han to shoot first, Greedo would have to of shot second.
Since Greedo didnt shoot second, because he didn't shoot at all, Han didnt shoot first.
So, Han shot before Greedo shot, pre-empting a shot by Greedo, thus also preventing Greedo from firing second and preventing himself from shooting first.
