It is still 7-10 years from mass production, but they've done it and flown a RC plane, using the fuel to power it's unmodified, internal combustion engine. It is completely "green" and carbon neutral. Interesting read, scroll it all the way down for the full article. Agreed pretty cool.
I've seen other articles that mentioned the cost of a gallon of seawater fuel being about the same as gallon of gasoline is currently. The costs of production large scale, are still a little far out to be known, I would imagine.
