(I meant to post this on July 28th the 100th anniversary of the start of WWI, but I wasn’t feeling too well – sorry. ![:(](//storage.proboards.com/forum/images/smiley/sad.png) ) 100 years ago the First World War, also known as the Great War started. It lasted for four years & the total number of military and civilian casualties in World War I was over 37 million. There were over 16 million civilian deaths and 20 million civilian's wounded. Ranking it among the deadliest conflicts in human history & changed the world & humanity’s views on war forever. May we never forget those who marched off to war & gave all for freedom. We Will Remember Them. Lest We Forget. ![(zzz)](//storage.proboards.com/forum/images/smiley/asleep.png) ![](http://i232.photobucket.com/albums/ee256/essexkoi/lest-we-forget5B15D1.gif) ![](http://ih1.redbubble.net/image.3457650.6212/flat,550x550,075,f.jpg)
