at least over here in europe, you shouldn't be cruising in the middle lane as a truck...but I think you guys have different rules for that. It’s veries depending on the road. There is often signs limiting trucks to certain lanes. But in construction zones, sometimes trucks are actually required to use the left lane because of clearance issues or because the right lane is a temporary lane and may not be able to support constant truck traffic. On the road where the video took place, it’s pretty much a free-for-all. and then there's the whole "everybody ignores proper lane usage, anyway" part.

How to clean your car like a pro. I think I prefer TLW’s method.

Ever wonder what a Wheego LiFe electric car is like? No, neither did I. But here is an in-depth review of one anyway.

That Youtube channel has another video about how the Wheego Life is built from a car called the Noble, build by Chinese automaker Shuanghaun Auto. Yes, it was build as a copy of the 1st gen Smart 4two. It resulted in a number of trademark infringement lawsuits from Mercedes. Interestingly, Benz lost their lawsuit in Greece because it was such of a bad car that they (the judge) said it couldn't be confused with a real Smart car. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Shuanghuan_Noble

that'd have to be kinda embarrassing for the company that made the knockoff

that'd have to be kinda embarrassing for the company that made the knockoff From what I'm hearing, even actual people over in China are upset at how bad Chinese-branded vehicles are, to the point that if you live in a city that has ocean winds or pollution your car will literally rust out from underneath you because they don't have proper protective coatings on the parts.

so basically their primary business is putting retro bodies on modern cars. kind of a clever gimmick.

Good to know. Next time someone abandons a tank in my backyard I know all I have to do is get out my garden tractor.

Really interesting stuff. I remember some of this from organic chemistry back in college, but that was 50 years ago and I have forgotten more than I remember.

Really interesting stuff. I remember some of this from organic chemistry back in college, but that was 50 years ago and I have forgotten more than I remember. as I recall from my petroleum days, Tetraethyl lead was the cheapest way to produce higher octane gas. other more expensive additives also did it, or simply refining the raw gasoline more selectively did it. so obviously, the fuel industry went with the cheapest option.

Somewhere around here we had brought up the idea that human-introduced stuff in the water might be altering people in strange ways such that we now have to rewrite laws to accommodate them because they are a large enough minority now.
Lead, radioactivity (depleated uranium, something I've brushed up against), mercury, fluoride, farming substances like nitrates, and of course there are diluted pharmaceuticals, and the list continues.
Usually, dilute substances can be a reduced concern. But, when the substances are toxic enough they likely don't dilute well enough, basically.
Yes, The Light Works, that point is discussed in the video. I would surmise your bringing it up likely means you didn't have time to watch the video. Maybe I'm guessing beyond reason, though.
