The link is the same, but it's now "Mythbusters: Jamie and Adam Unleashed", and Adam just said on Twitter that it's a completely reworked show. Looks like they're starting out with a short run the last half of April. Nothing I can get to, unfortunately.

Okay. Loveland CO is reasonably close to a friend who lives in Fort Collins CO. Maybe I might actually get there this time?
EDIT!!
I got VIP tickets and will be staying with friends out in Loveland, Colorado for the Show Sunday, April 12th 1600.... no there will be NO marijuana in any way, anywhere as far as I am concerned!!!! (grumble, grumble, not like the weed)

Congratulations! Can you give us a review of the new show once you see it?
(And I don't blame you. One thing I learned in college was that secondhand pot smoke gives me a nasty headache, I'm not about to see how much pain I can put myself into with closer contact.)

No further information I can find anywhere, but Adam tweeted this earlier this afternoon:
(Adam replied to another person with "Just the tour, not the show!")

That was on facebook as well. Jamie will be retiring from the tour at the end of the year.
He also said that they would be touring not just the US, but 'several countries' this year. Best guess would be Canada, Australia and New Zealand, as last year. But some of us can always hope for a UK tour, it depends on if they think they have enough fans over here to be able to fill a theatre.

I'll gladly make the trip to the UK if they ever get there and I'm almost certain kharnynb and c64 will too.

EDITED TO WARN THAT THERE ARE WHAT SOME MAY CONSIDER SPOILERS, SO, BE FOREWARNED!
Okay! I was at the show in Loveland, Colorado yesterday evening!
It is a show that I feel has three things going for it:
1) Great sound and footage reels of many of the show's finer moments (shown on a large screen), 2) a few demonstrations that some may feel are commonplace (like a bed of nails and a giant lever demonstration - although how can you really have a genuine discussion about physics-based mechanical things without mentioning things like this?), and finally 3) some demonstrations that are truly unique to the show (like the phone book tug-of-war demonstration - this time Adam suspends himself from maybe 20 feet above the stage using two interlaced phone books! - and they weren't very thick either! SPOILER ALERT!!: And then the show ends with what amounts to an anti aircraft paint ball gun blasting away at a man wearing knight's armor!! Fantastic!)
In all, the show runs about two hours. And there are a couple of chances to ask questions. Plus, the before-mentioned demonstrations (like the giant lever arm), need volunteers from the audience, so, they pick various people from the audience!
And, if you purchased a VIP ticket like I did, after the show you are whisked away to meet Jamie and Adam in person for photos. I didn't bring a camera or cell phone to take any pictures. I just shook each of their hands telling them that I had been trying to track them down for the longest time to finally thank them IN PERSON for including me in the credits (for whatever reason?) on one of the episodes from 2007/2008. (I realize that probably Dan Tapster had more to do with that than Jamie or Adam did, but what are the chances I'd ever get to meet Dan in person? None. So, I shook the hand that was most-available!)
It was great!
Finally! Something truly marked off of my bucket list!

That's awesome! How did they react when you thanked them for the credit?

And for the first time in Mythbusters history someone wanted to meet the showrunner over Adam and Jamie....

That's awesome! How did they react when you thanked them for the credit? That's a really good question! I mean my mind was racing really, really fast and I think I was speaking very fast too, trying to explain why I didn't have a camera, who I was, and that I didn't even want a picture as much as to just shake their hands to say 'thank you!' (after all, almost everyone got to shake their hands. Why was this exchange going to be any different, they seemed to wonder?) What had been happening before I got to them was that people would hand off their camera, or cell phone to the assistant, then the assistant would frame up the shot as Jamie and Adam briefly greeted them. The picture was quickly snapped and off the person(s) would go. So, the whole exchange took place within seconds and there must have been between 60 to 100 people in a reasonably-long, single file line doing this. I was sort of at the end of the group. When my turn came up I was nervous and worried I'd take up too much of their time. I rushed up, and exploded with something like : "Hey, guys! Sorry, no camera..." Yadda, Yadda, Yadda.. And as I approached I could sort of see Jamie take on a more prepared stance? Not quite fearful. More like one might stand if they briefly thought someone was going to, I don't know, throw a punch at them or something? I mean Adam and Jamie are incredibly bright, and from Jamie's point of view, this must have seemed pretty out of place. His arms were at his sides, but as I rushed up they seemed to flare out slightly into a more ready position as his face became rather stern. So, I rattled off who I was (their not having any forewarning that I'd be there, or ever having seen me before, and, very likely having forgotten the whole brief series of emails and exchanges that resulted in the credit) and as they began to catch on to what was really happening, I noticed Adam mouthing the words "No. Thank you!" as I continued to exclaim how thankful I was and that I wasn't expecting a credit and that I felt getting one was awfully nice and how wonderful it is that they have a show that offers such participation. About then Jamie seemed to appreciate the true nature of the moment and relaxed into a broad smile.. I shook their hands and then left as quickly as I arrived. I think that's how it went. But, only video of the exchange would show for certain, because it was something like being in a traffic accident: time all wibbly-wobbly, heart racing and mind focused, yet not... Cooool! And, I'd say it is even keel as to which of the staff I'd like to meet.

I can't even imagine what that feels like! We throw the word "awesome" around an awful lot these days, but I'm guessing that's one of those experiences that truly was?

Yes. Awesome is an apt description. Oh! And, one other thing: Though I was speaking fast, trying to get EVERYTHING in, I did say a shout out for The Citadel! I said, "Everyone from the fan sites says hi! Collin, Lisa, everyone at The Citadel!"
But, they still had sort of blank expressions on their faces at about that point, so I have no idea if they even understood what I was talking about at that point. Hey! I tried!

What a day.... Envy? I am turning a bright hulk shade as I speak.
And that says a lot... A couple of "ordinary" guys who had this idea that tinkering in their shed would make a neat TV show can turn us all into dumb-struck fans and elevate them into the "Rock-God" status...

So I got to go last night to one of the last live shows evar with Jamie. It was as much fun as the previous one, complete with Adam slipping and letting out an Anglo-Saxon word when one of the nails on the bed of nails poked him. He got completely embarrassed and covered his face, chiding himself that this is a family-friendly show. So funny!
Adam was asked what was the most expensive myth they ever did. Turns out one segment of the finale cost $80,000, but most episodes cost about $7,500 to make in terms of materials, licenses, and experts. The two JATO car sequels were the to-date most expensive, costing $100,000 each. I had to make sure I remembered this factoid as it came up rather regularly on the old Disco boards.
