My first homebrew, a california steam beer variant, has bottle aged enough to do a taste test and is turning out nicely.

It was only when I saw the words "Steam hound" I realised the optical illusion, and I wasnt looking at a Cat.... However, it has cleared nicely, from the picture supplied, it has good colour, decent head, looks cold, and the beer looks quite good as well.... and I wish I had a full bottle in front of me. Which is always better than a full frontal lobotomy. I have a few IPA's in the fridge from one of my favourite micro breweries, Marstons have done a couple of specialities for R&D, I will be putting them to the taste later on.

On the subject of beer labels. This one has me worried... However, on further reading, it says Victorious Bitter, not just Victoria.... Lex will know why I was worried a moment there.

Lex will know why I was worried a moment there. the ex I like to badmouth would never touch that, because she would get full too fast. but she's not an alcoholic...

Heh, i wish alcohol by internet was possible, that would solve so much issues with the finnish insane costs of beer and wine....
example: i can make a batch of good wheat beer, similar to a upper range commercial belgian white for about 50 cents a pint. In the store, that would cost minimum of 3.50.
