There are two categories called "Outstanding Cinematography For Reality Programming" and "Outstanding Picture Editing For Reality Programming".
Weird that MythBusters aren't nominated for either...

There should be a category for that and MB should win it, but since there isn't, I'm just wondering about the categories that do exist.

I am looking for an award where the odds are stacked that ONLY Mythbusters can win. Seams awkward that they may loose. They are their own category.....

I am looking for an award where the odds are stacked that ONLY Mythbusters can win. Seams awkward that they may loose. They are their own category..... True. And that's probably why they never win. They're lumped into categories with other shows that fit those categories better than they do, so they're at a disadvantage to begin with. People don't look at MythBusters as a reality show, but as a science entertainment show. But even if they never win one of these things during the show's run, I hope that one day, when they've stopped making the show, a couple of years have gone by and people have started to realize just how much they miss it, Adam and Jamie will be awarded lifetime achievement awards.

This must be the first year they're not up against Deadliest Catch. But what in the name of all that is good and sane is Diners, Drive-ins, and Dives doing there??

Well, they got skunked again. Deadliest Catch won for best in its category as well as for cinematography.

"Shark Tank" stole the trophy for "Outstanding Structured Reality Program" from Adam & Jamie. Well, I guess that's not so bad, at least it wasn't that a$$hat Guy Fieri (Diners, Drive Ins & Dives).
"Deadliest Catch" won for "Outstanding Unstructured Reality Program".

I think we'll just have to accept that most of the people who vote for this are dunces that have no concept of actual quality TV. Actually, if you look at it that way, the fact that Mythbusters never wins is a sign of quality in and of itself. It means they haven't lowered the bar to cater to the dumbest viewers and if that's what it takes to win, I hope they keep losing

there needs to be a new category: intelligent TV show. Wouldnt that require competition?.... "Don't you wish there was a knob on the TV so you could turn up the intelligence? They got one marked "brightness," but it don't work, does it?" Gallagher.
