new to home video, the goal was to make a movie that would be in the spy thriller genre, but would have a bit of comedy and some "everyman" charm
I think they did rather well. my one real issue besides a couple blatant revealing errors in the cinematography and a bit of a "yeah, it isn't reality, we don't really care." atmosphere was a significant amount of NSFW language.
it was well cast and the actors gave every indication of enjoying making it.
overall well cast, and well filmed. if the language isn't an issue, and you like spy thrillers that don't take themselves too seriously, it is worth watching.

The advertising here made it seem like the plot was "Elite spy Jason Statham and his team are on a job when something goes wrong, but the only backup available to them is a desk jockey who's never been in the field."
This bait-and-switch left me rather displeased when I went to go see it.

This bait-and-switch left me rather displeased when I went to go see it. the synopsis was more accurate; so I didn't have that.
