The Science Channel is debuting a new show next week called Street Science. It looks kind of like a cross between MythBusters and an old Tonight Show sketch where they would head out and film stuff near the studio. I have already added it to the DVR schedule.

Watched the first two episodes last night. He takes everyday ingredients and does fun things with them, like liquid nitrogen bottles that explode and push ping pong balls high in the air, or giant elephant toothpaste shooting through the sunroof of a VW Bug. Of course, don't try this at home.

No wonder this seems comforting and slightly familiar - two MB staffers, Linda Wolkowicz and Yvette Solis are working on the show.
