Super Blood Moon tonight. Peaks at 11:12 Central time zone. So far, sky's clear here. Hopefully I will be able to get a good view. They say this is the last one for 18 years, but it seems they say that every two or three years. Who knows. Enjoy it if you can.

BTW, it is the combination of supermoon and eclipse they are talking about being rare.

Clear here. Checked it out but wasn't too impressed. I think the last one we had was much better. At least from this location. At least it made me realize just how bad my eyes are getting. I think it's time for a visit to the optometrist.

At that time, they told me my left I would probably need it in about a year. As I said, that was five years ago. It appears it’s time.

When I had my right eye done they asked me if I wanted it for reading or distance. I told him I would prefer reading because that’s how that eye was before. What I ended up with was an eye that was not all that great for reading but had pretty good distance vision. I can still read OK with it, but need glasses for doing any real fine close-up work. Hopefully, when I get the left eye done, they will be able to fine tune it for distance. That way I won’t really need glasses except for extreme close-up work. But, it is what it is, if I need glasses so be it

Check this out, I think it's pretty cool, a little something extra happened during the eclipse. And it WAS red here, was a neat sight.
