I thought of a new super hero or an amalgam of human-animal "god" like the centaur ...
Except rather than a horse or bull, it's a turtle. And, rather than the turtle's head being replaced with the human torso, the head of the turtle is still where it is supposed to be.
So, the human torso is situated or mounted directly behind the tortoise's head and neck, where the human torso is mounted along the forward part of the shell of the turtle.
It would be as though the human were saddled up, riding high along the turtle's shoulders, if the turtle had shoulders. Anyway, though, the human-part is just the head and torso, the turtle has a human sprouting out of the shoulder area of its shell.
Now, when they approach a corner, they can both peek around the corner at the same time! : turtle's feet and knees showing, plus the turtle's head and upper shell. And then there's the human torso and its head, above, also peering around the corner at the same time.
See it!?
Quite a stunning super-hero god! They have the power and speed of a turtle! And two heads to thrust them through every probl

Yes. Yes, I suppose so. Very good! What do you think of "Centortoise" - Yet another man with two heads! (Animated by Disney Studios) The ladies are all, "Oh, Centortoise! He's all man!!" No. He's part man, part tortoise! Sent toward us to fight crime! Sent toward us to save the day! He's Centortoise!!

So every time the turtle pulls its head into the shell the human torso has to fold in there as well? A what about breathing under water?

I'm not sure, but aren't there giant desert tortoises that don't really ever pull their head in like that? Maybe sea turtles actually breathe underwater, though I'm not certain about that, but, I think most turtles hold their breath. Unfortunately for Turtleman (the Centortoise) his turtle head can out do him in the breath-holding category. Fortunately, most of the water they've bothered with so far has been knee deep!

I think it would be great in a surrealist show. Maybe a skit on Saturday Night Live, (and by that I mean as an animated short shown during the live airing -- they've done that many times before). Because ol turtle boy here is really just a joke.
