THAT one, I'll watch.
Please, please, please... don't screw it up with mediocre procedures / interpretations.

I'm just hoping the BB stars don't pull a Seth Rogan and try to run the show.

A family show about dissolving bodies, drugs and murder? They jumped the shark I am really sick of these "movie myth" shows. I will not watch with my kids. Why glorify the drug scene on a show like this? Probably lost a loyal viewer here.

Why glorify the drug scene on a show like this? Probably lost a loyal viewer here. My only thought after reading this is to give it a chance first. The cliche saying goes, don't judge a book by it's cover. If you haven't seen the episode yet, how can you hate it? I understand not wanting to watch with your family based on the premise of the Breaking Bad show, but MB has done a pretty good job in the past of staying family friendly.

A family show about dissolving bodies, drugs and murder? They already did the dead body smell in the car and buried in concrete myths, the poppy seed drug test myth and several myths about people getting killed/murdered. What's new in that? I am really sick of these "movie myth" shows. I'm with you on that one. It's been the focal point of WAY too many episodes over the past couple of years! I will not watch with my kids. Why not? If you've let your kids watch all the other dead body, drug and gun related myths, why not this one? Why glorify the drug scene on a show like this? I don't quite see them ever "glorifying the drug scene". If anything, I would imagine that the outcome of any drug related myths (should they choose to do any) would actually be them showing people why not to get involved in that sort of thing. We all know that drugs are bad for you even in the short term. There's no reality - substituted by Adam or otherwise - where I could see them saying or showing anything else.

A lot of people had the knee jerk 'jumped the shark' reaction to the Presidents Special as soon as that was announced. Funny how such comments went away as soon as the episode aired.
MB have teamed up with or investigated myths from TV and film shows for quite some time. And with the exception of the Green Hornet special, all of them have been fairly good. Even those where it is clear that someone higher up the food chain was pushing for a link up to another show - the Storm Chasers episode springs to mind.
Note that Mythbusters is not a family show - if it was it would not be rated as PG13. It is 'family friendly' in so far that most (although far from all) episodes you can watch with your kids without scaring them for life. In fact kids will almost certainly be seeing and hearing FAR worse things on the news channels every day than anything they are likely to catch on the average episode of MB.
