I (re)watched the Car Crash aftershow recently, and noted that one of the questions they were asked was how many cars they think the bullcatcher on the front of their truck could have dealt with. Adam's reply was that he though it could have kept going for any length of cars.
It got me thinking, what about an episode where they go back to previous myths and do them again to see how far they could take things? Such as seeing how many cars the truck could have dealt with, or if Jamie really could have designed a Batman style winch to pull him up into the rafters (done in the Superhero special, where Jamie cut his nose open and noted that given more time he could have built something better).
Can anyone else think of tests they have done that they might be able to and want to go back to do again, not to retest the myth but simply for the hell of doing it again?

Two of my favorites were the cement mixer destruction and the second water heater launch. I can't imagine them doing the cement mixer any better, after all, there was nothing left of it, but maybe something to launch the water heater higher. Could they really get in into orbit? (just kidding)

I'd like to see the fused trucks myth. The one where two trucks fuse together trapping a small car between them. I know they won't fuse, but I wonder if they could possibly make the small car pancake.

I think that maybe we should omit anything that has been retested at any point - so no death ray or JATO car.
I was thinking more along the lines of stuff that the cast might enjoy testing again, but where they have had no viable reason to do so. Usually because they have confirmed a myth. After all if they mess up or something goes wrong they do tend to revisit myths at some point (splinter myth not withstanding, damn it).
The catch is that they would have to be able to do something different, or ramp things up, rather than repeat the exact same test - so for example the car-catcher they used on the truck could be used but with a much longer line of cars or even with another truck in the way to see if it will still work or how many cars they could go through.
Naturally much would depend on what the cast themselves would enjoy ramping up, or getting a second chance at. Which is difficult to predict and lets be honest even they would probably have some trouble trying to pick things that would be fun to go back to yet allow them to do something slightly new with.

I'd like to see the fused trucks myth. The one where two trucks fuse together trapping a small car between them. I know they won't fuse, but I wonder if they could possibly make the small car pancake. I was thinking back then along the lines of using the rocket sledge track to test that one. I then evolved that a bit further. Could two articulated vehicles be guided by some form of Track, thus creating pin-point accuracy. We now know that it wont matter if the stationary vehicle (To be pancaked) is actually stationary, so why cant that be pushed along by one of the vehicles. Can they go super-size. Thats the expensive bit..... For a start, Articulated vehicles are expensive. Then getting the speed restrictions off.... tricky... Then going heavyweight....
