...... Phwatt?.....
Ya lost me.
I need a Brew, oh, hang on a moment, I changed my mind, its a cold day I need warming up, I will have a pot of ice cream instead?....
Light, I enjoy some of your posts, they make me laugh, they make me scratch my head, they make me think, they can be soooo outfield your playing in a different league at times, but swapping hot tea for Ice cream has got to be one of the better reasons why we miss you in the ESM club..... You are over qualified to post on the crazy thread?..... And I mean that in the nicest possible way.

I think SD would disagree about the Hot Melted Chocolate in tea.is good part.
But it would just be a form of novelty Icecream container , I have seen chocolate baskets before now.

That may be an Australianism, I have always just heard it as As useful as a Chocolate Teapot, implying that it would melt. A chocolate teapot might be very useful to a diabetic, if they where Hypo, making hot sweet tea very quickly, the sugars already dissolved for easy digestion. LTW. I see what you mean ...duh!

I get pouring Chocolate sauce over Ice cream. But in Tea, not so nice. Useful as a chocolate tea pot, the chocolate melts therefore its no use. Same with Chocolate Fire Guard. I have even heard Chocolate Window.... but I think he was just stretching the usual ones that day?.... like a goldfish needs a MotorPike and Side Carp, like a Pilot needs Vertigo..... he could find new meanings.

It's actually meant as a negative in that it would send them over their sugar limits & cause them to crash & go into a diabetic coma.

I understand that if a patient went Hyperglycemic , that's why I inject Insuman Comb50 twice a day to prevent it in myself.

sometimes people try to add clauses to establish ownership of a clever phrase - to the point that the phrase becomes convoluted and meaningless.
one example: the original phrase was "if it was a snake it would have bit you" (meaning it is right next to you) it then became "right next to the snake that's about to bite you" and got shortened to "right next to the snake" one wanna be wag then rephrased it as "right next to the snake bite kit"
and silver's still struggling with my absurdism.

No, I am struggling with Cultural Differences. I grew up with Local phrases, local slang, its expected, its part of who I am. Just as you grew up with your ideas being part of who you are..... I have not ever heard the snake references you just mentioned?... But we dont get a lot of snakes that bite here.

It took me a while to figure out LTWs meaning, because of the same cultural expectations I think, just imagine using the Chocolate teapot as a large Icecream cone! that is all he meant.

I was referring to the part about chocolate being good in tea if you replace the tea with ice cream. - meaning you are not having tea at that point, you are having a hot fudge sundae.
