The reading of maps, who can better understand the map, Men vs Women, Driver vs Non Driver, Adult vs Kid genius, Amateur vs Professional delivery driver.
And then what is better, someone who knows what they are doing having researched a route before they set off against someone following a sat-nag....
Pre-searched route, can knowing the area beforehand, as in the city you do your living and delivering in, be of benefit, against a strange city. And how much. To the pro's, I say a minor advantage, but will amateur's get completely lost?.. For this reason, perhaps a passenger who knows how to get UN-lost be mandatory?...
And it must be a strange city, one laid out on geographical constraints, not one on a strict grid system.
Of course I am expecting the Professional delivery driver to come out tops. Its a matter of professional pride. I therefore suggest a sleeper, a "Ringer" if you will, hide a professional Woman delivery driver in amongst the ladies they intend to test the myth on and see what happens, will she be spotted by the test team as a ringer or not?...

They already did the map reading in the first Battle of the Sexes episode.

I used sat-nag on my vacation, partly to more conveniently find my stops, partly to more conveniently find the fuel depots that took my fleet account, and partly to keep tabs on estimated time to destination (and for something to do)
I had mixed results - most notable were when it directed me to where a fuel depot wasn't - which may have been that I pulled the address from an old paper guide and the depot had moved since. and when "Lola" told me that I needed to change routes from the freeway (dual carriageway) to save an hour's driving. - and I didn't trust her until traffic came to an abrupt halt and I spent 10 minutes driving to the next exit so I could get to the less busy alternate route.
