linkAccording to the strip, there is supposed to be a YouTube video showing someone opening up a can of food by scraping it against concrete until the lid tears off. However, no link was included in the strip, and so I don't know just which video. That being said: 1. Can you really open a can of food this way? 2. Would the food be safe to eat?

with modern food cans, the lid is dished and nests inside the shell of the can. I am not sure what the material they seal it with is, but the new side cutting can openers actually score this seal, allowing the lid to be removed from the can, rather than cutting through the material of the lid like the traditional can openers. abrading the seal away would have the same end result.
