That's part of what I was talking about, max. Maybe it's just me, but that whole bit looked too staged. Too convenient.

Yeah. He also seems like he's pretending to be dumb most of the time.

Am I to understand that no one here knows or wishes to tell me where to find episodes of Head Rush? Or was that question simply ignored by all? *Mod hat on* Watching or downloading TV shows on the net is illegal, unless you do so through legal sites such as Hulu (North America only) or Amazon. So posting links to where you could do either is against board rules, and any such posts would have been deleted. (None have been as far as I'm aware. *Mod hat off* PK; Head Rush is, as I understand, a kids science show hosted by one Miss Kari Byron. I believe that they use clips from Mythbusters.

I just checked iTunes:
Mythbusters - all 13 seasons *and* some of their Shark Week footage, but I can't find the 2-hour Hollywood special. Individual episodes go for $2 - $3 each, while seasons are between $20 and $30. Note that for some seasons and episodes, you can select between HD and SD; HD gives you a better-quality image, but SD is cheaper and downloads faster.
Head Rush - they have volumes 1, 3, and 4, but *not* volume 2. Each volume is $21 apiece. I'm also seeing some Head Rush podcasts.

Now I'd like to add Chicago Fire to the list of shows I watch.

There's a troupe for that...
WHAT is a troupe other than part of a military gathering?.....

Trope, not troupe. And you're thinking of tro op, not troupe. If you follow the link, you'll find it leads to TV Tropes.

Ok, I have read the thing, I am still not sure I understand it though..... Perhaps its just me, I may be thinking too serious this morning, I am staring at several wiring diagrams on another page trying to make sense of something as to why a SATA to USB conversion board has ceased to function.... (Its the inside bits of an external hard drive... the drive works when plugged in to a computer, but not in its own enclosure...)

did you try switching the usb cable first?
I've been there before, instead of pulling apart the whole drive, all that was bad was the cable

You said "I resemble that remark", and I pointed out that there's a trope with that name. That's the joke.

Anyone ever watch Men at Work? The latest episode guest stars Sth Green as a crazy homeless man.
For some reason, I can totally buy Seth Green as a crazy homeless man.

Whether CSI: NY comes back or not, I will be watching Chicago Fire.

I enjoyed "North Woods Law" on Animal Planet.
It reminds me a bit of how "Cops" was in it's earlier years, before it became 1/2 hour of stitched together chase scenes and drunks.
It's about Game Wardens in Maine, and most of it centers around tracking down poachers. Unlike Cops, though, it usually ends with someone getting a ticket rather than arrested.
Hope it comes back.

I just finished watching "the alaska experiment" on recommendation from someone here, though i forgot who or which thread . The first season was fun, and in many ways reminds me of life here(minus the bigger bears and we do have indoor plumbing ) Sadly season 2 and 3 are nowhere near as good.

Though it aired a while ago, the season finale of Archer, while good, could have been better. Same goes for the opener, namely by adding an extra episode and making the opener a two parter and the finale a three parter.
The speed at which the plots are laid out and resolved just seem rushed and the pacing is a bit fast, and the Bob's Burgers characters had little more than a cameo, and only Captain Murphy of Sealab 2021 (voiced here by Jon Hamm) appears, and no other character. There's even a setup to a Pod 6 joke with no payoff.
Interestingly, even though their Bob's Burgers characters have no dialogue in the opener, Eugene Mirman and Kristen Schaal voice Cheryl's borther and his wife in the season finale.
If the finale had had an episode between the first and second parts, there would have been ample time to flesh out the plot and make more Sealab 2021 references (beyond Murphy's green golf cart and the vending machine).

Now that CSI: NY is done, the only show I watch is Chicago Fire. Not sure what I will be watching come September.
