This is one of the "Big" ones..... I am reserving a space here for discussion of string theory, what is it, is it possible, and is it actually provable either way.....
brief description of string theory, no particle is a point, its more an osculating piece of string, who's "Harmonics" determine what it is.
I am still trying to understand much of it myself, so this may get interesting.

I haven't been following it that closely in the past few years, but string theory seems to have lost a lot of ground in the Q world of late. It was really popular among the general public about 10 years ago mainly because of a couple of books and TV specials by author Brian Greene. I'm not sure how well it was ever really accepted by the rest of the QM physicists.

Its been as popular as the Higgs Bosun.... Prove it exists, and its brilliant, otherwise, its just a curiosity..... Of course, a highly interesting theoretical curiosity, but, its rather "Out there"....
