Cheese is good for you... as part of a non meat diet, cheese is healthy.
Cheese is bad for you... its full of Fat.
I hear either of the above, then both, then various variations, all the bloody time... Can someone make their bloody mind up?....
In Moderation. ALL food is in moderation right?.... So having a cheese sandwich once or twice a week cant be death by cheese can it?....
And are some cheeses better for you than others?...
I am hearing with no exact science behind it that SHEEP's milk cheese is better than cows milk. Goats milk is better than.....
Right, I DONT do Goats milk, and as you already know, Sheep are clouds with legs and lower IQ's, I dont exactly like sheeps either, so why am I being "Pressurised" into changing?... is it just another stupid marketing ploy?....
It aint working on me. But can someone test some of this?...

if you insist on only eating part of a complete diet, then cheese can help compensate for the lack of the particular amino acids in meat. however, if cheese is the only part of the diet you eat, then you will not get other essential amino acids.
and as far as cow's cheese being particularly harmful, I write it off as the "mainstream = bad" mentality of all the pop nutritionists out there. (I classify nutritionism as a form of religion.)

I'm dutch, i live in finland, this already means that my cheese habit has reduced as they cannot make decent cheese here....
Anything under 30% fat isn't cheese, anything younger than 4 months aged is hardened milk, not cheese.

I don't know how relevant this will be, but I do know that if you eat a lot of chees you can get REALY badly constipated. This I know for a fact! I ate 1kg of cheese when I was a kid one Christmas (Don't ask me why I did it, it just seemed like it was a good idea at the time & I was 7.) & got seriously constipated. I ended up going to the emergency room & had to have the 'blockage' dealt with, which wasn't pleasant.
