The reason people dont want Flu shots is they believe it will give them a mild dose of the flue, in a way that their immune system will "Learn" and react to, and therefore they only get a mild flu.
So?... what the science say?....
As Far as I can find out, the Vaccine is DEAD. It isnt able to give you the actual flu, so you cant get any symptoms.... [Step in some person in a white coat please to explain the exacts?....][you all know we should immediately trust anyone in a white coat, they are professional.... ]
But....
Most people having had the flu shot, the first time they feel a bit "Off", which can be from ANY bug they pick up, not just Flu, will immediately blame the flu shot..............

Most people having had the flu shot, the first time they feel a bit "Off", which can be from ANY bug they pick up, not just Flu, will immediately blame the flu shot.............. people receiving the flu vaccine will likely feel a little bit off. this is because when the immune system mobilizes, it leaves you feeling a little bit off. injected flu vaccines are dead fragments of influenza DNA - completely nonviable, and they will not reproduce in your body. (EDIT: the dogs had to be fed RIGHT NOW) however, your immune system will mobilize as though you have contracted the virus. the flu "snort" which is administered through the nose is a partially viable strain of the virus, which is rendered sterile, but will still attach to a cell and may cause a more aggressive immune system reaction. perhaps the best way to describe it would be to consider it like a military defense drill. there is no enemy, but you still have military vehicles rumbling through your streets. addendum: I know my coat is not white - this was explained to my department when they did the group immunizations against the H1N1 virus.

My White coat is still hung from a hook in my workshop. What use was it?... I assembled PCB boards in a "Clean Room" when I was a lot younger.
