An educated guess would be that the new season will start around the time this marathon ends. (No, I don't know the date. I'll let you know if my Bothan whispers anything in my ear).
I DO know what two of the new episodes will be about, one you've probably already figured out and another you will not know about. It's also been hinted at that two or three of the new shows were posted on TC at some point - I'm unclear if these were ideas picked up from TC or 'requested' ideas. Note I said 'posted on', which is not the same as 'came from' which is where the confusion comes from.
So you have a long running MB marathon to look forward to, free episodes (at least for those of you in the US) available on Discovery's site AND the chance of catching something in the new season you may have seen, if not commented on, here on TC.

As for the marathon, the episodes are nearly in order from season 1 forward.

I think Adam said that the episodes were going to be aired in order - although it is (as always) unclear if that meant the production or airdate order.

And of course other countries.
Heck if they just keep it to series one being shown before series two, you wont get the confusion where you watch the revisit to a myth before the first visit?...
