Just found them there, too, and was about to post them. Nice high speed photography. It looks really cool! I know this is scripted, which Jamie seems to not be doing so well with, but Adam's actually really good at still making it sound like it's his own stuff and the entire concept is still perfectly legit. Some would say this is just shameless advertising, and it might have started as that sort of offer, but I don't think this is what the company had in mind to begin with at all. I see a lot of Adam and Jamie in how this was shot and narrated and I don't think any public relations department could have come up with this on their own.

Seems foolish to pay what I'm sure is big bucks to hire public figures to promote your product and then dress them in attire completely outside of how the public recognizes them.

I honestly didn't really notice it that much until you pointed it out. Guess I was more fascinated with what they were doing than with what they were wearing...

I did notice the suits.
Adam's a pretty good pitchman, and it did appear that they had at least some script input.
"Don't touch me" seemed a typical Jamie response.

And you can tell you are a 'real' Mythbuster when your first thought is 'So, where is the glass cannon?'.

I noticed the suits... and Trainers......
Ok, so, the difference between Adam and Jamie doing this and Grant doing Mc-D "Myths". Corporate sponsorship...?...
Where as the idea of lighter stronger Windscreens is good, and all the other benefits of Glass, its still an advert. Isnt it? They call it Infomercial....
And where was the big boom anyway.

They've done ads for several years - the NVidia demonstration of blast painting the Mona Lisa a few years ago, Comcast a couple of years ago where they blew up the tablet, etc. And, now I know that the Gorilla Glass on my new phone is actually worth it.

And, now I know that the Gorilla Glass on my new phone is actually worth it. Exactly! I just ordered new phones for Girlfriend and myself yesterday and after seeing this, whether or not a certain model had Gorilla Glass became very important to me in choosing what phone I wanted to invest in. My point is, as long as Adam and Jamie keep choosing to only advertise products that they actually believe in and never compromise their integrity by backing something bad just for the sake of a check, their stamp of approval will mean a lot to their fans. This also means that should they ever choose to compromise that integrity, they'll lose a huge part of their fan base as soon as it comes out that they've backed a crappy product. I can't imagine they're not fully aware of that.

I am not decrying Adam and Jamie for doing this, I just ask, where next. Oziris is right, they have to tread very carefully............
