Superstition says that the left side is the wrong side of the bed.
I have no idea why.... Or even if that can be tested.
Which is the left side anyway, from looking at it as you go in the door or lying in it.?...

Maybe I should swap sides with Girlfriend, then. She sleeps on the left side of the bed and she's always in a bad mood in the morning

myth confirmed Not so fast there, buckaroo! I need to switch sides with her and see if it makes a difference to confirm it. Who knows? Maybe the bad mood she wakes up in when sleeping on the left side of the bed is actually her best possible mood

Although the introduction of a control into any experiment is the scientifically right thing to do, I'm not sure it'll be all that popular in this particular case

Honey, this is Julia. She'll be helping me conduct a scientific experiment. She'll be sleeping on the left side of the bed with me and you'll stay on the right side and we'll see which one of you is more cranky in the morning. Now, I don't want you to feel threatened by her. I know she's 10 years younger than you, hasn't had kids yet and she only wears a thong to bed, but remember... It's for science! Yeah, there's no way THAT can go wrong!

...But many ways it can be ohhh so right..... Like the old saying goes: Don't knock it 'til you try it Although in this case, I think it might wind up being more: Try it and you'll get knocked out EDIT: I'm also starting to think that having two women in the same bed is kind of like someone giving you a fighter jet. It sounds awesome at first, but then you get it and suddenly you don't know what to do with it or where to put it

It sounds awesome at first, but then you get it and suddenly you don't know what to do with it or where to put it Thats just lack of experience?... And at this point, I may wish to state, it was a LONG long time ago before I met my Current Wife, just in case she ever reads this and gets the wrong idea. Introducing the replacement... Never good. [edit, just to clarify, I never flew a Fighter jet.... although I did get a ride in one, on the understanding, "You dont touch anything, ok?..", it was a Harrier, and you just never get used to going up like that.]

We don't have a "wrong side", just the "wrong foot" to get up on.
