This is Colin Furze, he is slightly madder than a bag of oranges, but who cares?... I suspect this is not video fakery either.... Colin Furze holds (Held?..) the land speed record for a disability scooter at well over the British Speed limit. He aint no fake. He also built a pulse-jet bike.
Part two, will it work, some silly dancing, and some celebrations of madness....

Nice find.
This looks right up MB's alley, simple, short, cheap, a lot of room to expand on the original idea and plenty of footage of the build as well as explaining how jet engines work.
I'm thinking that a minor re-write of the OP so it is more of a question (is this real?) and this would be ready to put in 'finished ideas'.

Perfect; citadelofmyths.freeforums.net/thread/1450/I changed the title to something I think is somewhat more catchy, without being wrong or misleading. Let me know if you want to changed. Admin Note; Just to clarify some ideas are simple and straightforward enough that they don't need to be written up in great detail.

I think that may do. I would love to see the MB's try that one.... It looks so simple. But then again, the inventor of the "cats eye" saw a simple way to do things, and the paperclip was so simple people wondered why no one had though of that before?...
I am now wondering just how far it could be taken.
Can something like that be utilised as a replacement for the expensive rockets they use from time to time?...
JATO Turbo-jet?...

Yes, they did a pulse jet bike and attempted to turn a vacuum cleaner into a jet engine.

He lurked the old DC MB board and mythbustersfanclub board 8-9 years ago. God I am old. Aint none of us getting any younger. I sat with a friend yesterday, and we met when we were young free and single, have shared many pints, gallons together, barrels even by now, in truth, probably a few trailers full of beer.... We worked out, we had know each other for 30 yrs.... Now that is scary. Especially when I remember his now grown-up-so-she-thinks daughter as a baby... Not sure if that was before my time or not then... 8 yrs ago?.. yeah, maybe I was around then.

Kids today think the world revolves around them Ancient History, the moon landings?... this is a 30yr old saying that... Yeah, I watched that happen Live. Thanks for letting me know how "Old" I am...... now bugger of and go and play whilst the adults have a chat.

keep in mind the oldest living human is older than personal motorized transportation. (though the margin is getting narrower) we've done a lot in the last few years.
