But on that score, the butchering is on a meat corpse that, like a log, isnt trying to escape?... A slow careful deliberate cut is 'easy'. When the target is trying to stick you with a pitch-fork and definitely isnt giving you marks out of 10 for a clean cut?... The whole point is "Fighting back".

The whole point is "Fighting back". right, the only point to that is that the chain saw IS capable of making the cuts - which is step one of any scenario.

According to a recent Podcast "No Such Thing As A Fish" by the QI Elves, chainsaws were originally invented for a type of surgery that took place in childbirth to widen the birth canal in the 19th century.

according to the wikipedia article, the original chain saw was used to cut away bone. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Chainsaw this makes more sense than it being used to cut soft tissue.
