The Bothan was involved in the pre production/research stage of the series, not the filming, post production or permit/legal aspects. Thank you  And in that case: Why was the myth about "the fear sound" tested the way it was? I know you got it from the old Discovery board and I know what documentation was available about the circumstances of the myth, because I was the one who supplied the links for almost all of it and I still have the PDF documents on my harddrive. So, how did it end up getting tested the way it did, which had nothing to do with the actual circumstances of the myth? Did the research team not send the original documentation to the cast and crew, or did they (cast and crew) simply ignore it and go with a setup they thought would be more interesting to watch? In case of the latter, how does one feel as a researcher when that happens? |

I know we all have this idea in our heads that every day as a MythBusters researcher must be really special in a weird and wonderful kind of way, but in almost any job you're bound to fall into some kind of routine at some point (no matter how weird it is to be asked to order 100 lbs of poo).
Could you give us an example of a typical day in your job for the show and then tell us what kind of experiences have stuck out as "abnormal"?

Did Adam and/or Jamie ever present an idea that made you want to shout "You can't be serious!" (or some more expressive phrase)? Was this idea used or rejected by the powers that be?

Do you know if the various online fan sites will continue to have any bearing in the direction of the show now that a revival is under works? If so, what will the relationship be? Will any of them - be them individual contributors or even entire sites - be tapped to assist with the revival?
