Yes I do realise this that's why I was warning SD to be very careful about what he was planning to do, but 10 years is the maximum tariff it would probably be far less for a first offence.

I just can't get over the irony of you guys leaving the EU because you wanted more freedom, only to have your own politicians impose laws on you that makes you self-censor your own access to free information.
I find that downright tragic.

I find that downright tragic. The Brexitiers did not want freedom per say just the freedom for the UKs Parliment to make its own laws, in fact many of those that voted that way are probably from the right wing, hang-em brigade.

here, if you have inadvertently purchased stolen goods, you lose the goods, but if you knew you were getting stolen goods, you have also committed a crime. this is reasonable, to me. similarly, it seems reasonable that there would be a rule that if you watch something in the good faith belief that you are allowed to watch it, that would be considered different from watching something knowing you were not supposed to be watching it.
the rub comes that sellers of these widgets make the disclaimer that "we don't know what your watching habits are, so if you do something illegal with it, that's not OUR fault... we DID tell you it was possible..."
and so, of course, we mention it to Silver, knowing that he wouldn't deliberately do a criminal act.

I just realized what this thread was originally for and this is definitely not it, so I'll stop posting on this topic now and hopefully Loki or Cyber will move these posts to wherever they think they belong.

Mythbusters have revealed the airdates for some countries outside the US.
For the UK that's 22nd November, Canada 4th December and Latin America 13th May.
