I have just come back from watching Dunkirk.
It's a nerve shredding experience, very little dialogue but an excellent score and soundscape, it's not an action war movie but is about 3 distinct story lines the men on the on the beach desperate to get off, the civilian sailors doing their duty and the RAF battling in the sky.
The time structure of the movie is intresting each story takes place at a different oace until they all mix together.
I really enjoyed it but was drained at the end.
