www.rescam.org is a product of Netsafe. Forward your Nigerian scam, Russian date, or other spam phishing emails to "me@rescam.org" and a chatbot will respond to the scammer, using it's own address. It's designed to waste the spammer's time. It's brilliant. Here's their video: I'm starting to use it myself. So far, so good. They send you an email to let you watch the exchange, if you want, or they will simply carry out the discussion themselves without you ever seeing it again. Frankly, if it works as well as the demo, they deserve a Medal of Internet Honor.

There are more and more Youtuber who deal with scammers.
Some just waste their time:
Others try to shut them down by hacking them. E.g. causing immense phone bills for the scam centers.
And then there are Youtubers who gather information for the local police to catch them.

I still think the holy grail would be to access their bank accounts and drain them.

I still think the holy grail would be to access their bank accounts and drain them. Actually I have seen one doing something similar. He grabbed the unclaimed gift card codes from their database, called the company of the gift card system and have them transfer the money to new gift cards which codes were then sent back to the original buyers. Then he contacted other victims from the database and told them to dispute money transfers with their bank. Then he DDOSed their phone lines generating thousands of dollars in routing costs for the scammers. And last but not least he called the owner of the scam center and told him how much money he lost and how high his debts are before calling the police sending them all the evidence of the scam operation.

I would prefer to let it be a surprise, such as in that case he finds out when he tries to withdraw money to pay his bail.

scambaitingtools.com/Some of the stuff is hilarious, highly absurd but I guess plausible to foreign scammers.
