What is it?
A Power Rangers RPG show.
Produced by?
HyperRPG, the Twitch Channel, in conjunction with Saban - the creators of Power Rangers. This is basically an official Power Rangers property as a result.
The game system;
A Custom designed RPG system from HyperRPG. If there is enough interest they have indicated that the system would be made available as a full on Power Rangers RPG.
The cast;
The cast includes Peter Sudarso, who plays the Blue Ranger on Ninja Steel (the current series on TV) and Paul Schrier, who Power Ranger fans (or for that matter anyone who's just seen the show at some point) will remember as playing 'Bulk' on Power Rangers throughout the 1990's and on Samurai. (Both are playing different characters, the red and yellow rangers respectively).
They have also had a couple of guest stars from the series playing their characters, including the Gold Ranger from RPM and their biggest guest Jason David Frank, aka Tommy Oliver who was the original {Takes deep breath} Green, White, Zeo-Red and Dino Thunder Black Ranger.
They apparently have plans for guest stars like this in future, but haven't been able to confirm anything as of writing.
Why should you watch?
If you, or someone you know, likes Power Rangers...well this is basically an 'official' continuation/sequel to Time Force. (If with different characters). Like the TV show it is fun, daft and over the top at times.
It is clearly produced with love and attention to the series, the GM Malika is a HUGE Power Rangers fan and this shows.
Note; You don't HAVE to know anything about Power Rangers to enjoy or understand the show. It probably would help to at least be aware of the general tone Power Rangers series have as this is duplicated here.
Rating;
Unclear. HyperRPG is an R rated channel due to strong language, which is the case for Twitch in general. However based on what I've seen of the show and the fact that it is produced in conjunction with Saban I'd rate it as PG or PG-13. So probably 'safe for kids' if you watch on the YouTube channel, but parents would probably want to keep an eye on it just in case the odd bad word slips out.
