What it looks like to me is a time lapse video of a spider some idiot glued to a game controller. The world is full of very sick people.

I dont recognise that species of spider... not that I am a complete walking encyclopaedia of Arachnids, not even a thesaurus of them, its just for such a large spider and sort of knowing most of the bigger ones due to a friend who used to keep some of the more exotic, that one is not one I know of. Its similar to a barn orb weaver, but do they get that big?.
I showed my Kid, he suspects highly CGI, so I pushed, he reckons give him a week and he could build a replica that sort of looks similar himself, which is sort of what I thought, him doing Game Graphics at Uni right now, he discounted stop frame, but seams to think that if you got a controller and background filmed, it wouldnt be too hard to overlay a frame work of a spider and put some CGI onto it.
This all depends... What species is it supposed to be?. If it is a real species. Get a comparison side by side of the real one and that one and compare them for size?.
Otherwise, as many house spiders dont react to TV screens, even if they show the main predator on them, I HAVE to call Bunkum on this, and now its all down to how it was done.

I know there are large species of spider that will do posturing with their front legs, so it may be a pet spider either overlaid on a controller or actually on a controller. I recall seeing a meme done with a spider on a controller, but haven't been able to find it, now.

It looks like what we call a wood spider, also known as huntsman spider. They are common in the central US and come in a variety of body markings. The size is also about right.
