Yes, it has the chambers and valves and blood vessels, but does it pump? No.

To me it sounds like they did not include any nerves as part of this heart. Maybe they can't make those yet or maybe it just wasn't part of the article.
What I remember of my biology, without nerves, you won't be able to control it and you don't have a heart. I'm sure they are working on it though.
That does open a lot of possibilities to make new organs without having to rely on donor and that are immune to the risks of rejection.
