Bullet ricocheting off a window?

A colleague of mine says he saw a demonstration a while ago, where a cop made a bullet recochet off the pane of a normal window. The shot must have been at a very shallow angle I presume.

So, the main question is: can this trick be pulled off?

If yes, what type and thickness glass panes do the trick? What caliber and type bullets? And, most importantly: what maximum angle?
