A few science-related links might be useful. Here's some basic ones to start: HyperPhysics Concepts - a good overview of several topics in physics, such as relativity, quantum physics and thermodynamics (to name a few). PubMed - an online database of articles in the medical literature. Wolfram Alpha search engine - this one will return data about what you type in. There are obviously plenty more - feel free to add any that you know of.

Ever had that nagging feeling that you've read a scientific article about a topic under discussion but can't quite remember all the details? Try www.sciencedaily.com. It has a searchable archive and each article links to the originating research body and to the paper in the professional publication from which the article derives.

Do you have a link to the paper? There is a chance I might understand the first sentence

Do you have a link to the paper? There is a chance I might understand the first sentence I don't see it in the current list but all the listed papers show yesterday's date as their publication date. Perhaps it'll show up on the list later today or maybe tomorrow. I don't have a subscription to the journal so I expect that all that will be viewable will be an abstract.

Thanks for that, I might try to access it through my Uni library account.

A New Browser Plug-In Lets You Access Millions of Scientific Papers for Free"Unlike similar services that rely on means like automated web scraping, Unpaywall’s method of getting full-text access to scientific journals is totally legal. It scans a database of more than 90 million digital object identifiers (DOIs) for copies of papers that the researchers themselves have uploaded, whether on some pre-press servers or university websites. Unpaywall is also completely secure, as it doesn’t ask you for any personal information."

Thanks for the clarification, perhaps they are auto-detecting the browser your using to make downloads easier... thats good?.. That technology, to sense your existing setup, has been around for ages, but lazy web site developers didnt bother doing the code, thus downloads depended on you ticking the right box...
